Simon Mann is an honourable and respected person who has been part of the club for well over 20 years.
During his playing days he was a quality and courageous defender and he was at the forefront of meteoric rises through the divisions and cup dominations as well as the struggle for players and bad form that any village side has.
Through the good and bad times Simon has always been a lively character in the dressing room and a force that can keep any group of testosterone enriched men together.
He’s bought in many new players and he epitomizes what any one man can do for one club.
Simon now resides in Sydney, Australia and we always play in the knowledge that he continues to track the progress and fundraising activities of Gressenhall FC and we all wish him the very best in all that he does.
Every club has a man like Simon Mann and this page is homage to all current and former players that have made Gressenhall FC what it is today.
The following are a list of players who have continually excelled what is necessary to be a representative for Gressenhall FC and should always walk with their head high in the knowledge that they will always be respected in this small part of Norfolk.
We hope this page will continue to expand, much like Gressenhall FC as more and more players help push this club forward.
Mark Davies, Ben Walker, Mike Pickering, Ray Beales, Martin Wales, Matt Buck, Brian Whitwood, Phil Websdale, Neil Long, John Fogerty, Andy Mouse, John Clements, Ally Feeke and in particular Russell Burton.
